ASRY Inaugurates Itqan Initiative

ASRY's "Itqan Initiative" designed to foster innovation and employee development, was officially launched last Monday at the company’s headquarters in Hidd. The ceremony was attended by ASRY's executive management, department managers, and operational department heads.

In his opening remarks, Acting CEO Shaikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Khalifa stated that “we are proud to launch a new initiative called "Itqan", which aims to ensure a continuous development process. He explained that the choice of the name "Itqan" was due to its definition, which focuses on acquiring the skills and knowledge that contribute to producing work of the highest quality.”

He also expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all those working on this initiative, adding, “I am confident that through teamwork and this initiative, we will continuously drive towards higher and higher levels of excellence and strive to be the best in the world at what we do.”

Eng. Mubarak Al-Jawder - one of the founders of the initiative - explained that the first phase of this project will consist of exchanging ideas with employees through 3 methods: via e-mail or by filling an online form, and the third is by submitting proposals through boxes spread throughout the company, with the aim of providing diverse ways to facilitate access to all employees.

Co-founder of Itqan, Eng. Omar Al-Enezi, elaborated on the process for evaluating submitted ideas. After the initial submission (via form, email, or suggestion box), a dedicated team will assess each proposal based on established criteria. Viable ideas will then be transformed into action plans, ensuring the successful implementation of the vision, and recognizing the contributions of the applicant.
